About the Project
Project Update
A summary of the previous engagement can now be found under the Document Library (to the right hand side of the screen for desktop users, and towards the bottom of the page for mobile users). From the feedback received, several proposed signage designs have been created, using the recently approved Town branding changes, and the Town is now looking for feedback on these proposed designs.
Project Overview
The Town of High Level is developing a Wayfinding Strategy & Implementation Plan to improve navigation, enhance the visitor experience, and strengthen the Town’s branding. This project will create a clear, cohesive system of directional signs, maps, and landmarks that guide residents and visitors to key destinations such as parks, trails, downtown, and public buildings.
Wayfinding signage ensures that High Level is easy to explore, accessible to all, and visually unified. The plan will prioritize a phased approach for sign installation, focusing on community needs, preferred locations, and cost-effective implementation. Special attention will be given to entry feature signage and ensuring signage supports all modes of transportation, including pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers.
